The Swarthmore Centre can be found just outside Leeds city centre. Our life drawing classes takes place in the purpose built art studio with a well-lit, 2 level open-area which can comfortably fit around 20 people (numbers will be limited to 20 at a time for safety reasons).

Easels and drawing boards are provided for free and some paper is available
at a small cost. Please bring all art materials you wish to use.
There is currently one main session which is 3 hours long (with some interspersed breaks).
The cost for the session is £15 per person. (The money is only to cover the cost of the venue and model and the session is strictly not-for-profit).

Car: Follow directions to Park Lane College. Keeping the college on your left, the centre is part of a terrace on your right. There are a limited number of spaces behind the centre.

Train: Take the free bus service from the station's main entrance and alight at Park Lane College. Head right down the road, keeping the college on your left side and you will see the Swarthmore centre on your right just after the corner in a row of Victorian terraces.

Foot: From the Town Hall, follow the headrow until you reach the Law Courts. Turn right in front of the courts and turn left at the end of that road. Continue over a large footbridge over a dual carriageway and forward until you come to a road in front of you with a park on the right and a set of terraces on the left, one of which is the centre itself.
