Trevor obtained a degree in fine art in the year 2002 at Bradford College. Through these three years of academic study he became mostly involved with spatial awareness, movement and choreology. These studies were brought to the attention of the viewer through abstract sculptures in the medium of clay and stone powder. Some sculptures were drawn and painted onto canvas in oils.
After his degree he wanted to experiment in drawing and painting the human form, the outcome after a number of years. He is still experimenting, still trying to fathom out the complexities in the human form with its beautiful lines. He mainly works in charcoal where his style of mark making is spontaneous and strong. To paint in oils is what he likes most of all, but yet is fighting to find his style.
